Job summary

First Meridian Business Services is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer in Bengaluru to design and implement automated web testing using UFT One. You will build and maintain robust automation frameworks, integrate with Git and OpenText ALM, and participate in CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.

You will lead execution across browsers and environments, analyze results, and demonstrate outcomes to business stakeholders while supporting validation and final sign-off activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of test automation experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in UFT One.
• Experience with OpenText ALM, Git, and Jenkins.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web application testing methodologies.
• Working experience in Agile and DevOps environments.

• Create and maintain object repositories, reusable libraries, workflow components, and test data.
• Reuse and enhance existing automation frameworks while adhering to established standards and best practices.
• Execute automated test suites across multiple browsers, environments, and configurations.
• Manage automation assets, test scripts, and traceability within Git and OpenText ALM repositories.
• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and support automated execution.
• Analyze execution results, investigate failures, log defects, and support retesting activities.
• Produce execution reports, dashboards, logs, screenshots, recordings, and quality metrics.
• Demonstrate automated test scenarios and execution outcomes to business stakeholders.
