Job summary

Revature India is seeking a Senior Trainer to join its AI First Academy on a full-time basis at a flagship partner university campus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. You will own end-to-end design and delivery of Python, AI, ML, and GenAI programs for student cohorts.

You will build structured learning pathways from AI Foundations to advanced courses, mentor learners, and drive measurable AI literacy outcomes across the institution.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years hands-on industry experience in Python, FastAPI and full stack development.
• Min 2 years of experience in AI native development with LangChain or Llama Index or similar, using GenAI models.
• Strong foundation of AI/ML concepts such as RAG, Agentic and MCP.
• Strong cloud experience with application deployment, cloud resource provisioning and management.

Revature India is seeking an accomplished Senior Trainer to join its AI First Academy as a full-time faculty, embedded at a flagship partner university campus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is a high-impact, institution facing role that sits at the intersection of applied technology and transformational pedagogy.

The Senior Trainer will own the end-to-end design and delivery of Python programming, AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI programmes across student cohorts. Working as a senior trainer within the AI Lab of the university, the incumbent will build structured learning pathways — from AI Foundations to advanced AI courses for Computer Science and other departments — while delivering measurable AI literacy outcomes across the institution.

• Own and continuously improve the AI Foundations curriculum delivered to college students across departments, ensuring coverage of core concepts and facilitate structured assessments
• Design and deliver tiered AI and ML programs — foundational, intermediate and advanced — with a focus on hands‑on practice and domain application
• Deploy active learning methodologies — hackathons, workshops, case studies, and live demos — to drive learner engagement and real‑world applications.
• Develop course content, lab exercises, capstone projects, and assessment of rubrics, alongside high quality slide decks and trainer‑support materials.
• Design assessments aligned to university exam norms while incorporating project‑based evaluation
• Review, score and provide actionable feedback for the assessments submitted by the students
• Deliver high‑quality instructor‑led sessions covering Python programming, AI, GenAI, ML, Data Science and Automation.
• Facilitate hands‑on labs and project mentoring, guiding students through real‑world problem‑solving.
• Administer project‑based assessments, exams, evaluate and share feedback.
• Guide students through competitive platforms such as Kaggle, Hacker Rank, and LeetCode to build applied problem‑solving skills
• Conduct doubt‑clearing sessions and remedial support for students with varying levels of expertise .

Governance & Thought Leadership

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learning progress in line with institutional reporting requirements.
• Define KPIs and a measurement framework to track AI literacy outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Establish guidelines and build awareness of the ethical and responsible use of AI tools by students.
• Manage the provisioning and usage monitoring of cloud resources and LLM tokens, ensuring equitable access and responsible consumption across student cohorts.
• Monitor global trends in AI and education technology and regularly incorporate into the courses.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 5 - 8 years of hands‑on industry experience in Python, FastAPI and full stack development experience (using Django or Single Page Applications).
• Min 2 years of experience in AI native development using industry framework such as Lang chain or Llama Index or similar one, using GenAI models.
• Strong foundation of AI/ML concepts such as RAG, Agentic and MCP
• Strong cloud experience with application deployment, cloud resource provisioning, and management.
• Strong knowledge in Data Structure and Algorithms and data base (any RDBMS)
• Strong experience and knowledge in System design thinking and design principles and patterns

React or VueJs

• Proven training and facilitation experience, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience creating training artifacts including course content, hands‑on labs, projects, etc.
• Strong grounding in pedagogy, learning outcome design, and competency‑based assessment.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders to design academically rigorous, industry relevant curricula.
• Ability to learn and adapt emerging technologies

Preferred

• Experience in a technology services or product company environment.
• Handson of experience in NoSQL databases
• Track record of leading AI transformation or curriculum reform initiatives.
• Active certifications in AI/ML e.g., Google AI, Microsoft Azure AI, NVIDIA Deep Learning, etc.
