Job summary

Delta Tech Hub in Bengaluru seeks a qualified professional to lead the development, writing, and governance of aircraft technical instructions for Delta's fleet and engines. The role requires strict FAA compliance, alignment with TOPP, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure manuals meet industry standards.

You will apply knowledge of ATA 100, iSpec2200, and S1000D to deliver accurate, safe, and top-quality content across programs, while upholding Delta's safety and documentation

Qualifications

• Experience authoring and managing aircraft technical instructions.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and TOPP.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure quality content.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall development, authoring, and management of aircraft technical instructions used on Delta's fleet and engines.
• Ensure compliance to FAA regulations, engineering documentation, and TOPP guidance.
• Collaborate with Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Materials, Production Control, Supplier Operations, and other teams to ensure manuals meet FAA, ATA, and Delta standards.
• Prioritize safety-conscious behaviors in all procedures and content.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of commercial aviation documentation standards (ATA 100, iSpec2200, S1000D, etc.).

Job description

• Responsible for overall development, authoring, and management of aircraft technical instructions utilized on Delta's fleet of aircraft and/or engines.


• Must ensure compliance to FAA Regulations, Engineering documentation, and other substantiating data as outlined in the Technical Operation Policies & Procedures (TOPP).


• Must work closely with numerous departments including Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Production Control, Supplier Operations and others to ensure all aircraft manual content meets FAA, ATA, and Delta standards.


• Must ensure safety conscious behaviors are incorporated into all procedures.


• Position requires a thorough knowledge of commercial aviation documentation and guidance specifications (i.e. ATA 100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and etc).
