Matrix is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter with deep expertise in hiring across Data, ML, AI, and Software Engineering roles. This role requires strong domain understanding of modern data stacks, ML systems, and engineering workflows, not just resume matching.

You will act as a strategic partner to engineering leadership, owning end-to-end hiring for complex technical roles and driving talent pipelines in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter focusing on Data, ML, AI, or Software Engineering roles.
• Strong domain knowledge of data platforms, ML systems, and engineering workflows.
• Experience using ATS, sourcing platforms, and analytics-driven recruiting tools.
• Ability to partner with engineering leadership and translate requirements into sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, and Software Engineers.
• Proactively source senior and niche technical talent using LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, and professional communities.
• Conduct in-depth technical screening calls and align assessments with hiring standards.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to define role requirements and hiring priorities.
