Job summary

Globeia is a bootstrapped global identity verification and document services company with a Gurugram hub. We seek a Program Manager who owns delivery across tech, design, QA and operations, ensuring alignment with the roadmap and timely shipping.

You will convert roadmaps into actionable plans, run sprint ceremonies, identify blockers early, and keep the CEO updated on progress and risks while coordinating across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in technical program management, engineering project management or delivery management at a software company.
• Degree in engineering or computer science, or hands-on background as a developer or QA engineer.
• Track record of shipping products on schedule across engineering, design and QA.

Responsibilities

• Own deliver timelines across tech, design, QA and operations, with the product roadmap as priority.
• Turn the roadmap into clear plans with milestones, owners and dates.
• Run the delivery rhythm: sprint planning, standups, reviews and cross-team check-ins.
• Spot dependencies and blockers early and resolve them before deadlines.
• Pressure-test estimates so commitments are realistic.
• Provide the CEO with weekly, honest progress on shipped work, risks and decisions.
• Bridge between the CEO and Gurugram teams to align priorities across time zones.
• Build tracking systems, dashboards and processes to keep operations efficient as we scale.
• Hold teams accountable to commitments and raise problems early.

Globeia is a bootstrapped global identity verification and document services company, serving clients across multiple countries. We are building a technology platform that turns a manual, paperwork-heavy industry into a software-driven experience. Our Gurugram office is the global hub where tech, design, QA and operations sit together.

About the Role

Our CEO is based in Washington DC. Our build team is in Gurugram. We need one person on the ground in Gurugram who owns delivery: someone who knows what every team is working on, what is due when, what is slipping, and why.

This is a program management role, not a product management role. You will not decide what we build. You will make sure that what we have committed to build ships on time, and that tech, design, QA and operations are working in step rather than waiting on each other.

What You Will Do

• Own delivery timelines across tech, design, QA and operations, with the product roadmap as your first priority.
• Turn the roadmap into clear plans with milestones, owners and dates, and keep those plans current.
• Run the delivery rhythm: sprint planning, standups, reviews and cross-team check-ins.
• Spot dependencies and blockers early, and resolve them before they cost us a deadline.
• Pressure-test estimates from engineering and design so the dates we commit to are realistic.
• Give the CEO a clear, honest weekly picture of what shipped, what is at risk and what needs a decision.
• Act as the bridge between the CEO and the Gurugram teams, so priorities are understood and nothing is lost across time zones.
• Build the tracking systems, dashboards and processes that keep the office running efficiently as we grow.
• Hold teams accountable to their commitments, and raise problems early rather than late.

What We Are Looking For

• 4 to 8 years of experience, with at least 2 years in technical program management, engineering project management or delivery management at a software company.
• A technical background: a degree in engineering or computer science, or earlier hands-on experience as a developer or QA engineer. You don't need to write code, but you do need to understand how software gets built.
• A track record of shipping products on schedule across engineering, design and QA.
• Strong working knowledge of agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Linear or ClickUp.
• Clear, direct written and verbal communication. You can summarize a messy situation in five lines.
• Comfort holding senior people accountable, including people who do not report to you.
• Experience working with a remote founder or leadership team across time zones is a strong plus.
• Startup experience is preferred. We are bootstrapped, we move fast, and there is no layer of management to hide behind.
