Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager in India (Gurugram) to drive digital transformation and optimization initiatives. You will partner with engineering, data science, and operations to deliver scalable product solutions that improve data flow and performance across global applications.

You will lead backlog prioritization, manage cross-functional programs, and leverage analytics tools like Power BI and Thoughtspot to quantify impact.

Responsibilities

• Understand hybrid application integrations and analytical tools to measure customer experience.

• Provide operational support when AI-driven authorization is used in Mastercard apps.
• Support Mastercard product governance tools and services (Studio, Architecture Reviews, AI governance, Data Security).
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, operations and design to deliver scalable solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging integration tech, AI/ML models and analytics platforms.

The Digital Transformation and Optimization team is part of Core Solutions. We are responsible for optimizing eCommerce solutions and for driving transaction authorization improvement for digital transactions globally. We do this by being a consumer centric for our products and services and being relevant in all consumer money flows.

The Role

• Have good understanding of hybrid application integrations, analytical tools to measure and track customer experience, like Mixtiles, and Project management frameworks/ tools like GIT, copilot and Jira
• Responsible for identifying, analyzing, developing, and bringing solutions to market that meet customer needs through supporting stories, feature management and project planning, helping to make solid product decisions and deliver value
• Drive product evolution with a focus on data science, engineering and business impact by helping to maintain the product backlog, and prioritize requirements
• Provide Operational support of new products where authorization recommendations are delivered from an AI engine to an Mastercard global application
• Act as a Program Admin to support Mastercard product governance tools and services (Studio, Architecture Reviews, AI governance, Compliance and Data Security, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, operations, and design to deliver scalable solutions that enhance product connectivity, data flow, and performance insight
• Continuously innovate and explore new approaches, tools, techniques, and technologies to solve business problems
• Stay updated on emerging trends in integration technologies (e.g., AI ML model & and data analytics platforms (e.g., Thoughtspot, Power BI))

All About You

The candidate should demonstrate:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product management and project management
• Passion for all things digital and intrinsic curiosity to understand new technology like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud solutions
• Entrepreneurial spirit and global mindset with a passion for learning and using data to solve large scale business problems
• Experience using project management tools like Git, Jira, Aha, etc is preferable
• Excellent communication & influencing skills to work with internal and external stakeholders; ability to articulate problem statements, opportunity areas and complex data models
• Excellent project management and execution skills, with strong problem solving, highly analytical, quantitative communication and organizational skills
• Create and maintain material in support of product development and management: business cases, product roadmaps, success metrics, etc.
• Good to have experience with Enterprise Business Intelligence Platform/Data platforms
• Ability to articulate the business value of products and actively participate in sales enablement efforts
• Proven success in interacting with stakeholders to understand technical needs and ensure analyses and solutions effectively meet their requirements
