Job summary

MAX-HR-Solutions in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Product Owner to balance a complex backlog across CMS, eCommerce, and asset delivery platforms. The role requires deep understanding of data flows, event-driven patterns, and cloud integration patterns, with strong Jira/Confluence and agile delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in product ownership, digital/product management or platform management.
• 3+ years working directly with software development teams.
• Backlog ownership for an integration-heavy product with interfaces and dependencies.
• Read system landscapes, analyze data flows and API contracts, translate trade-offs.
• Experience in application operations and production support.

Responsibilities

• Own backlog and roadmap balancing new features, ops needs, and debt.

• Be a technical sparring partner for developers, architects, and global tech leads.

Role & responsibilities

• Ownership of backlog and roadmap balancing new business features, operational needs, and technical debt into transparent priorities
• Translation of business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes
• Act as a strong technical sparring partner for developers, architects, and global tech leads, including deep-dive discussions on solution design, APIs, integrations and implementation approach.
• Overview of integrations and data flows across CMS, eCommerce, product content, asset delivery
• Dependency management across international teams
• Coach and guide developers on technical topics, engineering best practices, platform understanding, and solution thinking.
• Platform health — incident prioritization, root cause follow-up, corrective actions in the backlog
• Release coordination with development and operations
• Scrum ceremonies, automation and modernization opportunities

Preferred candidate profile : Your qualifications:

• Degree in Business Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or comparable background
• 5+ years in product ownership, digital product management or platform management
• 3+ years working directly with software development teams
• Backlog ownership for an integration-heavy product — interfaces, dependencies, operational topics
• Able to read a system landscape, follow data flows and API contracts, challenge technical trade-offs, translate in both directions
• Application operations and production support — incident prioritization, root cause follow-up
• Jira, Confluence, agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban)
• Excellent English
• PIM, DAM, CMS, product content or asset delivery — SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP PCM, FirstSpirit or comparable
• REST APIs, event-driven architectures, integration patterns
