Job summary

Aptiv in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior Product Systems Engineer to define, analyze, and manage requirements for advanced ADAS and automotive systems. You will partner with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to shape system architectures and deliver innovative mobility solutions.

You will define customer requirements in Polarion, develop robust system specifications, and support integration, verification, and validation across CAN, Ethernet, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
• 7-12 years of experience in Automotive Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Polarion (preferred) or DOORS requirements management tools.

Responsibilities

• Define, analyze, and manage customer and stakeholder requirements using Polarion.
• Develop functional architectures, use cases, and system specifications for ADAS products.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Work with CAN, Ethernet, diagnostics, and automotive communication protocols to ensure robust system performance.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, validation, and customer teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Your Role

Your Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline
• 7-12 years of experience in Automotive Systems Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Polarion (preferred) or DOORS requirements management tools
• Strong knowledge of ADAS, CAN, Ethernet, UDS Diagnostics, and automotive communication networks
• Experience with ASPICE, requirements engineering, system architecture, and functional analysis
