HCL Technologies Limited seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer focused on Finance and S/4HANA. You will work on modern ABAP development (CDS Views, AMDP, OData, RAP) and core ABAP concepts like Reports, ALV, and Enhancements.
Knowledge of AI-assisted tools (SAP Joule, Cursor) is a plus and you will handle IDocs, BAPIs, and Web Services integrations. You will analyze requirements, debug, and tune performance while delivering clean, scalable code.
7 to 10 years of hands-on experience inSAP ABAP development with focus on Finance module
Strong Experience in S/4HANA, modern ABAP development (CDS Views, AMDP, OData, RAP) is expected
Good experience incore ABAPconcepts: Reports, ALV, Enhancements (User Exits/BAdIs), Smart Forms/SAP Scripts is also required
Familiarity withAI-assisted development tools(e.g., SAP Joule, Cursor or similar tools) is an advantage
Goodunderstanding of Finance moduleprocesses and terminologies
Strong exposure tointegrationtechnologies: IDocs, BAPIs, Web Services
Proven experience in debugging and performance tuning.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Understanding of clean code practices and modern development approaches.
Experience working in projects with high interface volume and complex integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
