Job summary

Comviva Technology in Gurugram invites a hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to own design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java/Spring Boot services. You will drive microservices architecture, event-driven patterns with Kafka, and Kubernetes deployments to ensure reliability and performance.

You will mentor teams, review code and contribute to engineering governance, while collaborating with product and architects to align technical solutions with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive the architecture and implementation of microservices-based applications, ensuring availability, resiliency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design and develop event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka and other messaging technologies.
• Define and implement RESTful APIs and integration frameworks for internal and external systems.
• Oversee deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications running on Kubernetes (K8s).
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, design discussions, and engineering governance.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Identify system bottlenecks and drive performance optimization initiatives across applications and platforms.
