Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant (Reliability) in Chennai to join our asset management and maintenance engineering practice. You will lead maintenance strategy reviews, develop and optimize CMMS data, and contribute to reliability improvements across multi-disciplinary projects in the oil & gas sector.

Ideal candidates bring a mechanical/electrical/instrumentation background, 7 years in maintenance engineering, and hands-on experience with FMECA, RCA, RCM, and SAP/MAXIMO/JDE

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance improvement projects and leading a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance engineering fundamentals and cross-disciplinary requirements.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of applicable local and international standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance engineering services that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Review and optimize maintenance strategy and asset performance.
• Prepare CMMS master data and ensure consistency with client guidelines.
• Develop and maintain performance and regulatory standards, and maintenance documentation.
• Identify critical spares and manage spare parts strategies to support reliability.
• Audit SAP/MAXIMO/JDE Master Data for project needs and align with client guidelines.
• Create/update maintenance work instructions and related documents.
• Coordinate safety and reliability improvement activities across projects.

The Role

As an Senior Engineer ( Mech/Elect/Inst or Reliability/Asset Management ) with Worley,, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Deliver maintenance engineering services that meet Worley, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Review the existing maintenance strategy, verify if they meet performance standards, GMS, regulatory requirements and prepare maintenance strategy for project specific new equipment and support Maintenance Strategy optimization
• Prepare the CMMS Maintenance Master Data in line with client's Master Data guideline and current practice
• Create/Update Performance Standards, Regulatory Standards, Global Maintenance Strategy and other PM related documents
• Identify critical spares, manage critical spares register and ensure correct levels are held state-wide, to enhance asset reliability
• Develop and review BOM/EPL.
• Perform the Equipment Criticality Analysis.
• Audit the SAP for project specific material and catalogue the project specific material in line with client guideline
• Prepare LSMW Template for SAP Maintenance and Material Master Data change requests
• Prepare/update the PRT /MWI (maintenance work instructions) required to maintain equipment.
  Additional Responsibilities:
• Monitor compliance of maintenance work and equipment in line with statutory requirements for Major Hazard Facilities.
• Keep open lines of communication in relation to safety, production, cost and improvement ideas.
• Develop inspection programmes for process piping, vessels and equipment in accordance with Australian and international standards, government bodies,
• Review engineering specification and drawings, build design modification to improve plant reliability
• Identify issues and problems; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.

About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• A recognized engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation & control or equivalent.
• A strong track record of implementing maintenance improvement project and proven experience leading and managing a diverse portfolio of improvement projects and the ability to engage collaboratively with a diverse range of partners
• A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the maintenance engineering and the basic requirements of other disciplines.
• Extensive experience with FMECA, RCA and RCM.
• Site Maintenance Execution, Planning and Scheduling using CMMS.
• Computer management systems (CMMS) experience such as SAP/MAXIMO/JDE Master Data and different Maintenance Strategies.
• A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet Worley and its clients' needs.
• Effectively manages change to work tasks and the work environment and assists others with adapting to change.

• Substantial technical and practical experience in Maintenance Engineering in Oil & Gas or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Approximately 7 years with maintenance engineering
