Job summary

Yamaha Motor Solutions is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure support engineer to manage AWS-based environments and Linux/Windows systems. The role includes monitoring, incident response, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex issues and maintain high availability.

The candidate will perform system administration, ensure security updates, monitor KPIs, and contribute to knowledge base and SOPs. Hybrid work model with on-site Faridabad location near Sarai metro.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of support experience in AWS-based infrastructure.
• Hands-on with AWS services: EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, RDS, S3, IAM.
• Experience with Docker and Ansible.
• Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Github and CI/CD concepts.
• Basic DevSecOps understanding.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for AWS infrastructure, Linux, and Windows systems.
• Monitor environments ensuring availability, performance, and security 24/7.
• Respond to client inquiries, issues, and incidents via monitoring tools, email, chat, and phone.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and provide timely solutions.
• Perform system administration tasks including user management, server monitoring, backups, and security updates.
• Track SLA and analyze data for server KPIs.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

1. Provide technical support for AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure, Linux ,Windows system and related technologies.

2. Monitor AWS environments and Linux ,Windows system ensuring their availability, performance, and security 24/7.

3. Respond to and resolve client's inquiries, issues, and incidents through various channels, including monitoring tools, email, chat, and phone.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.

5. Perform system administration tasks, including user management, server monitoring, backup and recovery, and security updates etc.

6. Tracking SLA and doing data analysis for server KPIs.

7. Maintaining and Tracking the Incident and Release lifecycle.

8. Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

9. Proactively identify potential issues and suggest improvements to enhance the performance, security, and scalability of the infrastructure.

10. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and respond to critical incidents.

11. Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, Linux technologies, and industry best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality support.

Required Skills
