Job summary

Infosys BPM in Pune seeks a seasoned Java developer to design and implement enterprise applications using Java/JSP, Spring, microservices, and Angular, with Oracle/PostgreSQL.

Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, AWS, Kafka, Drools, and Camel is preferred; strong communication and agile collaboration are essential. Insurance domain exposure is a plus.

The candidate will contribute hands-on development and work within modern MVC/JDBC frameworks and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate with relevant Java/J2EE development experience.
• Proficient in Java/JSP/XML, and web frameworks such as Struts and Spring.
• Experience with microservices, relational DBs (PostgreSQL/Oracle), and Agile projects.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java-based applications using Java/JSP and Spring.
• Design and implement solutions with MVC, JDBC, and OO analysis.
• Work with Drools, Kafka, Camel, and cloud/on-prem architectures.
• Collaborate in Agile teams with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with containerization and AWS cloud is advantageous.
• Experience in insurance domain is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Relevant working experience with Java, JSP, XML, J query, Struts, Spring MVC, Springboot, Micro-services, Angular 6, Postgres / Oracle DB, Agile is must
  
• Experience of Rules engine (Drools), Messaging Event Bus (Kafka) is also required
  
• Familiar with various design and architectural platforms.
  
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, Java GUI frameworks.
  
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms
  
• Thorough understanding of Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  
• Familiarity with continuous integration, DevOps
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Experience in containerization would be an added advantage
  
• Experience in insurance domain would be preferred.
  
• Experience of AWS cloud
  
• Experience of apache camel Client orientation
