NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to advance Halos OS for safety-critical AI platforms across QNX, Linux, and hypervisor environments. The role focuses on real-time embedded software, ARM-driven SoCs, and secure, high-integrity stack development.

The candidate will lead BSP, boot, driver, and platform software development, while collaborating with safety, security, and ASIC teams to deliver robust edge AI capabilities in industrial robotics and autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in system software for real-time embedded systems.
• Strong C and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with RTOS, ARM-based SOCs, and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and debug system software for NVIDIA Halos OS across QNX, Linux, and hypervisor environments.
• Develop BSP, boot, driver, device-management, diagnostics, and platform software for NVIDIA SoCs and edge AI platforms.
• Create and optimize I/O virtualization for mixed-criticality systems and ensure ISO 26262/21434 compliance.
• Collaborate with ASIC, firmware, OS, safety, security, and platform teams to bring up new NVIDIA platforms.
• Use formal methods to ensure high-integrity software and leverage AI-assisted tools for code review and testing.
