Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in India is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to build NVIDIA Halos, a safety-first platform for autonomous machines. You will design and debug system software across QNX, Linux, and hypervisor environments, and create BSPs, drivers, and platform software for SoCs and edge AI systems.

You will bring up next-gen platforms, work with ASIC/firmware/os teams, apply formal methods, and use AI-assisted tools to speed development, testing, and documentation while mentoring

Qualifications

• 8+ years of system software development for real-time embedded systems.
• Strong C and Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with safe and secure software across ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Hands-on debugging and performance analysis experience.
• Knowledge of ARM-based SoCs and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with QNX and RT Linux.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and debug system software for NVIDIA Halos OS across QNX, Linux, and hypervisor-based environments.
• Design and develop BSP, boot, driver, device-management, diagnostics, and platform software for NVIDIA SoCs and edge AI platforms.
• Develop I/O virtualization solutions for mixed-criticality systems and ensure ISO 26262/21434 compliance.
• Bring up and optimize next-generation NVIDIA platforms with cross-functional teams.
• Apply Formal Methods for high-integrity software and leverage GenAI for acceleration.
• Design debugging, tracing, logging, and performance-analysis solutions; mentor junior engineers.
