Job summary

Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) in Bengaluru invites you to join a vibrant international team shaping railway signalling and industrial automation projects. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Manufacturing to drive product lifecycle management and continuous improvement across global programs.

The role requires 3-4 years in PLM, configuration management or engineering support, with strong BOM, release processes, and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management, Configuration management or Engineering Support.
• Good understanding of BOM management, change control, product documentation and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage product lifecycle activities, BOMs, and engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
• Maintain product documentation, configuration records, and release baselines.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Global Teams.
• Support obsolescence management, component replacement, and product improvement initiatives.
• Interface with customers such as RDSO and Indian Railways for product-related activities.
• Travel within India as required for customer meetings and project support.

Your Success Is Grounded In

• 3-4 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management, Configuration management, or Engineering Support.
• Good understanding of BOM management, change control, product documentation, and release processes.
• Knowledge of Railway Signalling systems, product engineering, and PLM tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with SAP is desirable.
  

Preferred

• Experience in Railway Signalling, Industrial Automation, Electronics, or Manufacturing domains.
