Job summary

o9 Solutions is hiring a Sr Consultant - Client Success to help global enterprises optimize their planning and decision-making with the AI-powered o9 platform. You will triage tickets, reproduce issues, and collaborate with R&D and DevOps to deploy fixes in production.

The role requires SQL, and experience with optimization and simulation tools such as Python, R, SAS or CPLEX. You will work with planners to drive value and participate in 24/7 operations for international customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL-based data extraction and querying for planning problems.
• Knowledge of optimization and simulation techniques used in planning.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Triage tickets to categorize bugs or data issues.
• Reproduce issues and coordinate with R&D/DevOps to diagnose.
• Develop, test and deploy fixes to production environments.
• Provide clear explanations of system behavior to customers and team.
• Refactor IBPL code for efficiency and maintainability.
• Move configurations between environments and test CRs.
• Support 24/7 operations with international clients.

What you ll do for us

• Triage the ticket to determine if its bug/data issue, etc.
• Reproduce the issue and work with R& D, DevOps
• Develop, Test and Deploy the fix to production.
• Provide explanations for system behaviour (For solver - more complicated)
• Refactor IBPL code to make it more efficient.
• Move Config between diff env
• Develop and test CR s.
• Clean up/archival and performance tuning.
• User Management (tickets or training customer IT)
• Collate the repeated issues or pain points of planners to CSM for enhancements
• Willing to work in a 247 team with International Customers across the Globe.

What you ll have

Languages: SQL or similar; Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like Python, R, SAS, CPLEX or similar is desirable.

Skills: Understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning and S&OP.

Characteristics

• Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.
• Patient listener with the ability to clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure.
• Ability to analyse and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks are key.
