Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced Hardware Verification Senior Staff Engineer in Bengaluru. The role requires driving verification architecture, planning, testbench design, and rigorous coverage closure across complex IPs and subsystems.

You will mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure first-pass silicon quality. Minimum qualifications include 13+ years in ASIC/SoC/IP verification with SystemVerilog/UVM, ABV/SVA, and strong scripting

Qualifications

• BS/BE in CS or Electrical/Electronics or related field.
• 6+ years of Hardware/IP verification experience.
• Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM for large-scale environments.
• Experience with C/C++ reference models in UVM contexts.
• Strong debugging skills and ABV/SVA knowledge.
• Proficient in Python, Perl, and Shell/TCL scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive verification architecture, methodology, and execution strategy for complex IPs/subsystems.
• Lead verification planning, testbench architecture, coverage closure, regression strategy, and sign-off activities.
• Own end-to-end verification delivery: plan, test/stimulus development, coverage analysis, and root-cause debugging.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and system teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Mentor and guide junior and senior verification engineers; promote best practices.
