Job summary

BU Consultants in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer with 15 years of experience to lead design and integration of complex features across products. You will write high-quality code, set best practices, and mentor teammates.

You will coordinate technical direction with other Staff Engineers, review architectures, and present engineering topics internally and externally. Expect work on large-scale, cloud-native systems using Go/Java, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 15 years building large-scale distributed applications in Go or Java.
• Experience with big data platforms (Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
• Cloud-native design on AWS/Azure/GCP; Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong CI/CD, testing, and Agile practices.
• Ability to explain complex architectures to non-technical audiences.
