Job summary

StoneX Group Inc. is seeking a skilled backend software engineer to design, develop, and test pricing and risk management projects within a hybrid on-site environment in India.

You will help modernize our technology stack toward a scalable microservice architecture and contribute ideas across the project lifecycle. The role requires 3+ years of enterprise software experience, strong C#/.NET, REST and gRPC skills, and proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes, React, and modern web frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and the modern .NET platform (Core/.NET 6+) for backend development.
• Experienced in building REST APIs and gRPC services.
• Comfortable with Linux command line for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Skilled in WPF for desktop applications and modern web frameworks such as React.
• Knowledge of messaging systems including ActiveMQ, Kafka, and Redpanda.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Specialized in real‑time streaming and distributed enterprise messaging.
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• 3+ years of industry experience building enterprise grade software.

• Provide prompt and knowledgeable assistance to business continuity and platform operations whenever requested.
• Work to identify risks and enhance control across the business.

Responsibilities

This role supports the Pricing team by designing, developing, and testing key projects that strengthen pricing and risk management. You will contribute to strategic initiatives to modernize our technology stack into a scalable, microservice‑based architecture, actively offering ideas and solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
