Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Mumbai, India seeks a Supply Chain Finance Co-ordinator to lead the SCF team in Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting and Costing, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing month-end close, SOX controls, and delivering insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Candidates should be CMA with 5–7 years of costing and asset experience, strong SAP FI/CO/PA/MM skills, and expertise in Excel, data visualization

Qualifications

• CMA (Intermediate or Final) or equivalent finance graduate requirements.
• 5–7 years experience in costing, fixed assets and related processes.
• Proficient in SAP FI/CO/PA/MM and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service delivery by the SCF team per SLAs and governance.
• Monitor SOX/internal controls and remediation.
• Act as first point of contact for escalations with timely resolution.
• Plan capacity and activities for month-end/year-end closings, reporting, and costing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CS&L, Production, Procurement) and auditors.
• Develop insights from business data to support decision making.

Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

• Our Finance and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape.
• The Supply Chain Finance Co-ordinator is responsible for performing and overseeing the SCF Team and tasks in Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting and Cost & Inventory processes.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To-

• Service & Internal Controls Assurance
• Monitor on day-to-day basis to ensure accurate and on-time service delivery by team following SLAs and process governance tools
• Regularly review SOX/Internal controls compliances in team with proper documentation and promptly remediate any discrepancy observed
• Be the first line of contact for team and business in resolution of escalated queries / issues with a sense of urgency and ensure no repeats. Include assessing the issues needing IT help and raising appropriate Incident requests with preliminary root cause analysis.
• Proactively plan capacity & activity with team and relevant stakeholders for major milestone service deliveries like Month-end/Year-end closing, Reporting, Quarterly costing, etc
• Work with Team Lead to assess the ad hoc service requests from business and guide teams for action
• Working with a team to ensure SOBPs are up-to-date and incorporate any changes required in a timely manner. Keeping Team Lead informed of and consult for any major changes.
• Develop analysis and insights from business data to support business leaders make informed decisions
• Ensure regular engagement with stakeholders in a proactive manner and use these connects to issue resolve, build rapport, learning and development of team

Projects & Continuously Improvements

• Bring up any process improvement ideas from the team with assessment of impact on process effectiveness and efficiency and guide the team in implementation.
• Support global projects / CPIs implementation / efficiency delivery measures
• People Enablement
• Onboarding new members in the team and assessing effectiveness of learning and scale up from early days for successful service delivery.
• Facilitate ongoing functional learning in team on regular basis based on feedback from business or own assessment of the needs/gaps
• Developing back-up among resources within team
• Use the recognition tools and forums for timely recognition of good work in team and peers
• Cross functional stakeholders: Non-Finance (CS&L, Production, Procurement) and Finance teams in Colgate entities and other centers
• External and Internal Auditors

Required Qualifications

• CMA (Intermediate or Final), Any other finance graduate
• 5-7 years of experience in Costing & Fixed Assets
• Proficient in SAP - FI/CO/PA/MM modules,
• Advanced Excel & Google Sheets
• Prior experience in working with multiple teams including business engagement across virtual platforms
• Deep experience in Costing, Inventory, Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting processes
• Comfortable with managing and analyzing large data and Developing visualization in Slides (or other tools) and
• Well versed with Domo,Sigma,Tableau,Scripting, Google Suites, Snowflake and BI Reporting platforms(preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified CMA (from ICMAI India)
• Working in an FMCG Manufacturing Plant in SAP Setup
• Soft skills are needed for this role: Leadership; collaboration; strong communication; data -driven, etc.
• Preferred Qualifications can be assessed based on interviews
