Job summary

DP World invites applications for a Senior Specialist - Speciality Services at the Global Service Centre in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai. The role reports to the Finance Director and involves month-end close, financial statements, AP/AR, and statutory compliances.

Candidates should have 4+ years in financial statement preparation, IFRS/Ind AS knowledge, and strong MS Office skills. A professional degree is preferred, with experience in lending/NBFC advantageous.

• 4 years direct experience in Financial Statement preparation capacity.
• Experience in gathering data and preparing financial reports.
• Good knowledge of accounting systems and internal controls.
• Should understand IFRS or Ind AS.

• Prepare Financial Statements on a monthly and annual basis.

• Ensure confidentiality of financial records.
• Prepare reports of Budget vs. Actual performance.

Designation: Senior Specialist - Speciality Services - Global Service Centre

Base Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Finance Director, DPWFSL

Key Accountabilities:

• Prepare Financial Statements on a monthly and annual basis.
• AP invoices and AR in our ERP.
• Review bills to the company for potential errors and discrepancies and resolve the same.
• Reconcile accounts, resolving discrepancies and collaborating across various Finance and non-Finance functions effectively.
• Form payment strategies, make timely A/P payments, and mitigate supplier objections.
• Actively work on the month-end closure- in terms of posting journals, reviewing ledgers, preparing reports and calling out problems while undertaking the same.
• Prepare the monthly statutory compliances for Corporate Tax and VAT(UAE) and ensure all Timelines are adhered to.
• Support the annual audit and provide the external auditors with all the information requested Promptly. Assemble the annual audit information for external auditors.
• Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the Organization and its business partners.
• Prepare reports of Budget vs. Actual performance.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Accounting.
• Professional degree is preferred.
• Should have prior experience in lending business/NBFC to understand its nuances
• 4 years direct experience in Financial Statement preparation capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage to account.
• Experience in gathering data, compiling the proper information and preparing financial reports.
• Good knowledge of accounting systems, and internal controls.
• Good Dexterity with MS Office tools.
• Should understand IFRS or Ind AS.
