Randstad India Pune is seeking a Senior Specialist to design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices deployed on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architecture decisions and deliver robust software powering Randstad's core products.

The role requires 3–5 years of professional backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database expertise.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade backend applications.
• Strong Java expertise, including Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming principles, design patterns, and multithreading.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot / Spring Data.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on AWS and CI/CD practices.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and modern frameworks.
• Leverage AWS native services to build cloud-native backend applications and serverless components.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD best practices.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize queries for low latency under heavy load.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in agile ceremonies.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and microservices deployed natively on AWS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions, optimize system performance, and deliver robust software solutions that power our core products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and secure microservices using Java and modern frameworks.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS native services to build resilient, cloud-native backend applications and serverless components.
• Code Excellence: Drive technical quality through code reviews, automated testing (unit/integration), and adhering to best practices in CI/CD.
• Performance & Scalability: Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries, and ensure low-latency system reliability under heavy load.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, participate in agile sprint ceremonies, and contribute to system architecture discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade backend applications.
• Java Expertise: Deep understanding of Core Java , Object-Oriented Programming principles, design patterns, and multithreading.
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, or similar Java frameworks.
• APIs & Database: Demonstrated experience building RESTful APIs and working with both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and experience troubleshooting distributed systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications via APIs, including prompt design, agentic workflows, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) based integrations.
• Understanding of security best practices in AWS (IAM policies, KMS, secret management).
