Job summary

BNY in Pune is seeking a Senior Specialist, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality to join the Data Solution team. You will monitor data feeds, scrub data, and ensure accuracy across systems, guiding junior staff and testing software enhancements.

You will work with investment banking data, perform data modeling, and respond to client inquiries, helping deliver reliable data services. A bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years in investment banking, plus strong MS Office and Excel skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–5 years of experience in investment banking with in-depth domain knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office with intermediate Excel skills.
• Security Master / security valuation / fund accounting / trade capture / securities settlement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data feeds and perform data scrubbing for data management and quantitative analysis.
• Add and maintain data on the Bank's systems; verify accuracy and guide junior staff.
• Test software enhancements and upgrades and provide improvement recommendations.
• Respond to data-related questions from internal and external clients and document solutions.

Senior Specialist, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality to join our Data Solution team. This role is located in Pune

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Monitors data feeds and performs data scrubbing for the Data Management and Quantitative Analysis team. Identifies and documents violations, exceptions, or occurrences exceeding tolerance thresholds. Provides guidance to more junior staff.
• Addition and maintain data on the Bank's systems, inputs and verifies accuracy of information. Ensuring information entered by more junior team members is accurate. Tests software enhancements and upgrades as necessary and may provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitors complex databases and spreadsheets. Performs calculations, initiates the execution of data modelling programs and prepares initial drafts of simple charts, graphs, or reports.
• Contributes to responding to data-related questions from internal and external clients and helps provide solutions. Ensures that all customer responses are thoroughly documented and verified.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Candidates should hold a minimum bachelor’s degree.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in investment banking domain and should have In-depth knowledge of securities and capital market.
• Should be proficient in MS office and atleast be at an intermediate level in Excel.
• Security Master / security valuation/ Fund accounting/ Trade capture/ Securities settlement experience is good to have.
