Job summary

BNY in Pune is seeking a Senior Specialist, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality to join our Data Solution team. You will monitor data feeds, perform scrubbing, and ensure accuracy across systems, guiding junior staff as needed.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years in investment banking with knowledge of securities and capital markets, plus proficient MS Office and Excel. Experience in Security Master, valuation, fund accounting, trade capture or settlements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors data feeds and performs data scrubbing for the Data Management and Quantitative Analysis team.
• Adds and maintains data on bank systems, verifying accuracy and guiding junior staff.
• Monitors complex databases and spreadsheets; runs data modelling programs and drafts basic charts/reports.
• Responds to data-related questions from clients and documents all responses.

Senior Specialist, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality to join our Data Solution team. This role is located in Pune

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Monitors data feeds and performs data scrubbing for the Data Management and Quantitative Analysis team. Identifies and documents violations, exceptions, or occurrences exceeding tolerance thresholds. Provides guidance to more junior staff.
• Addition and maintain data on the Banks systems, inputs and verifies accuracy of information. Ensuring information entered by more junior team members is accurate. Tests software enhancements and upgrades as necessary and may provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitors complex databases and spreadsheets. Performs calculations, initiates the execution of data modelling programs and prepares initial drafts of simple charts, graphs, or reports.
• Contributes to responding to data-related questions from internal and external clients and helps provide solutions. Ensures that all customer responses are thoroughly documented and verified.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Candidates should hold a minimum bachelor’s degree.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in investment banking domain and should have In-depth knowledge of securities and capital market.
• Should be proficient in MS office and atleast be at an intermediate level in Excel.
• Security Master / security valuation/ Fund accounting/ Trade capture/ Securities settlement experience is good to have.
