Job summary

AirTrunk in Mumbai is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Technology – Technical Solutions team, reporting to the Solutions Engineering Manager. You will work closely with the Head of Customer Success, making your mark by translating customer needs into design projects for our data centres in the India region.

You will help drive delivery of customer solutions through the data centre cycle, produce key technical and sales collateral, assist in high-level space planning and engineering

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled/studying OR fresh graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Eng or ECE
• Fluent in MS Office and basic BlueBeam and AutoCAD
• CFD knowledge is a plus for mechanical trades
• Analytical mindset with good writing and communication skills
• Willing to learn with a proactive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide support in RFP proposals and deliver technical documents
• Create technical and sales collateral such as high-level M&E schematics
• Assist in space planning and engineering solutions for customers
• Develop CFD related to engineering designs and calculations
• Prepare pitch decks and collateral for customers and executives
• Collaborate with connectivity team and carrier partners in region

A Snapshot

As the Solutions Engineer reporting to the Solutions Engineering Manager, you will work closely with the rest of the Technology – Technical Solutions team, as well as the Head of Customer Success, making your mark in a number of ways:

• Support the team by learning and understanding the customer and market requirements, ensuring business alignment
• Help to drive the delivery of the customer solution and product through the complete data centre cycle
• Support translating customer requirements into key design projects of our data centres in the India region and in preparing presentations to customers and executives.

Your Day to Day

• Provide support to the Solutions Team in the RFP proposal and deliver key technical / engineering documents
• Provide support in production of key technical and sales collateral – High Level M&E Schematic and Technical presentation materials
• Assist in high-level space planning and engineering solutions for our customers
• Involved in pioneering various engineering solutions relating to design, calculations and other engineering aspects
• Assist in the development of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Support in preparing pitch decks, presentation packs and collateral for customers and executives
• Support the connectivity team working with carriers in the region

Requirements

• Currently enrolled/studying OR fresh graduates of Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)
• Fluent in MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and good knowledge of BlueBeam and Basic AutoCad
• Basic knowledge of CFD is an advantage but not required – this only applies if you’re mechanical trade
• Analytical mindset
• Good technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
• Willing to learn, good attitude and proactive
