Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking interns for its Solutions Team in Mumbai to learn how we translate customer requirements into data centre design projects. You will assist in RFPs and prepare technical and sales collateral, including high-level M&E schematics and presentations, while learning space planning and CFD-related work for hyperscale data centres in India.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• BlueBeam and AutoCAD basics helpful for design docs.
• CFD knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical mindset and good written communication.
• Willing to learn, proactive attitude, and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Solutions Team in RFP proposals and deliver technical/engineering documents.
• Assist in producing key technical and sales collateral (High Level M&E schematic, presentations).
• Support in high-level space planning and engineering solutions for customers.
• Involved in developing engineering solutions related to design, calculations, and CFD.
• Assist in developing CFD work and related analyses.
• Prepare pitch decks and collateral for customers and executives.
• Support connectivity team working with carriers in the region.

A Snapshot

• Support the team by learning and understanding the customer and market requirements, ensuring business alignment
• Help to drive the delivery of the customer solution and product through the complete data centre cycle
• Support translating customer requirements into key design projects of our data centres in the India region and in preparing presentations to customers and executives.

Your Day to Day

• Provide support to the Solutions Team in the RFP proposal and deliver key technical / engineering documents
• Provide support in production of key technical and sales collateral – High Level M&E Schematic and Technical presentation materials
• Assist in high-level space planning and engineering solutions for our customers
• Involved in pioneering various engineering solutions relating to design, calculations and other engineering aspects
• Assist in the development of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Support in preparing pitch decks, presentation packs and collateral for customers and executives
• Support the connectivity team working with carriers in the region

Requirements

• Currently enrolled/studying OR fresh graduates of Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)
• Fluent in MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and good knowledge of BlueBeam and Basic AutoCad
• Basic knowledge of CFD is an advantage but not required – this only applies if you’re mechanical trade
• Analytical mindset
• Good technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
• Willing to learn, good attitude and proactive
