Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration workflows and automation solutions using the Workato platform.
• Build and manage Workato recipes, callable recipes, custom connectors, and reusable integration components.
• Integrate enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, ServiceNow, SAP, and other SaaS platforms.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, webhooks, JSON, XML, and authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, validation, error handling, retry mechanisms, and exception management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Monitor integration workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance and reliability.
• Follow integration development best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, deployment plans, and operational support guides.

We are seeking an experienced Workato Engineer with 5+ years of experience in integration development, workflow automation, and enterprise application integration. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Workato, API integrations, REST/SOAP web services, and enterprise automation solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable integrations across multiple business applications while ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.
