Trintech Solutions Private Limited (India) is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to ensure software quality across releases. You will design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, identify defects, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Qualifikationen

• B.Tech or BE in engineering.
• 4-6 years of software testing experience.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience in Test Planning, Test Cases, Data Setup, Defect Management, Test Execution, Traceability, and Metrics.
• Knowledge of JIRA.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server and SQL queries.
• Automation experience (Selenium) and performance testing knowledge (LoadRunner).
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with reconciliation/month-end close apps preferred.

Trintech is an award-winning AI driven Fintech SaaS organization transforming the way finance teams operate and we are looking a Senior Software Test Engineer responsible for evaluating software solutions to ensure that it meets the specifications and requirements before being released to our customers. The Sr Software Test Engineer needs to identify functional, performance, or usability issues and suggest resolutions. Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. In addition, Sr Software Test Engineer ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Participates in designing and implementing testing processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of the Product to understand the requirements and client issues. This role also expects the person to help other junior employees.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Responsible for end-to-end testing activities.
• Develop and execute test plans consisting of both manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, report and track software defects and issues.
• Perform functional, performance, and regression testing of software products.
• Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders and work on the resolution.
• Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
• Active participation in planning, analysis and estimation of backlog requirements.
• Configure test environments with different platform combinations for testing.
• Ability to work in a close team environment, and engage with other departments.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and still meet job requirements and tight deadlines.
• Ability to help other junior employees.
• Learn automation tool (if new to automation) and automate the test cases.
• Learn performance testing tool (if new to performance testing) and run the performance test cases.

WHO YOU ARE

• B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) or BE (Bachelor of Engineering).
• 4-6 years of related professional experience in Software testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands on experience on functional, systems testing including Test Planning, Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test Execution, Traceability Matrix and Test Metrics.
• Knowledge of tools like JIRA is highly desired.
• Knowledge and experience using Oracle and SQL Server Database and SQL queries is preferrable.
• Knowledge and experience in test automation (preferably selenium), performance testing (Loadrunner is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to effectively collaborate with all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to both analyze and troubleshoot issues around product, third party software and databases.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet internal and external deadlines.
• Results and quality oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently under minimum supervision in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Previous experience with Reconciliation and/or month-end close applications is preferred.
