Job summary

Luxoft in Bengaluru seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests for mobile and embedded software. You will contribute to test plans, write robust keyword libraries in Python, and integrate tests into CI/CD using Bamboo/Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Agile teams, defect tracking in JIRA/Bugzilla, and a proactive, self-organized approach to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience with Python and Robot Framework, including custom keyword library development.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile application testing and mobile test automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest.
• Experience with embedded testing, including sensor, navigation, and connectivity verification.
• Good knowledge of mobile UX/UI best practices.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience using defect-tracking tools, including JIRA and Bugzilla.
• Experience collaborating with Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-organized, proactive, and highly collaborative approach to work.
