Job summary

Luxoft in Bengaluru is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to perform testing within design/requirements, ensure quality and timely delivery, and build test environments.

The role requires Python expertise, experience with CI/CD pipelines, defect tracking tools, and collaboration in Agile teams. Strong communication and teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a comparable field.
• Solid understanding of testing software systems in embedded, backend, or mobile domains.
• Some experience with test automation and scripting.
• Proficiency in Python (intermediate or higher).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Experience working with agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-organized and highly collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks within agreed timeframe and according to design/functional spec.
• Deliver quality and timely completion of own tasks.
• Create test cases from requirements and software architecture.
• Set up test environments and execute test cases.
• Report test results and defect status; log defects.
• Verify and reproduce defects; participate in test design decisions.
• Automate tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with integration and regression testing.
