Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to design, develop, configure, and enhance the ServiceNow platform within SAFe Agile teams, supporting CSM, HRSD, ECP and ITSM to drive digital transformation.

You will own integrations, automation, and platform governance, mentor junior developers, collaborate with Product Owners and Architects, and stay current with ServiceNow roadmaps to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience across CSM, HRSD, ECP, and ITSM.
• SAFe Agile delivery experience.
• Experience building and supporting integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Ability to coach Junior ServiceNow Developers and colleagues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and other ServiceNow integration technologies.
• Configure Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Service Catalog solutions.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and promote development standards, security, and platform governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

What You'll Own

• We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and enhance the ServiceNow platform in alignment with business and customer requirements. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise across ServiceNow products, a passion for delivering high-quality solutions, and the ability to work effectively within a SAFe Agile environment.
• This role requires a developer who can contribute to solution design and build scalable, maintainable applications that support Global Payments' digital transformation objectives.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows to meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain solutions across Customer Service Management (CSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Employee Centre Pro (ECP), and other ServiceNow products. Contribute to solution design, technical architecture, and platform best practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and other ServiceNow integration technologies.
• Configure Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Service Catalog solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work within a SAFe Agile delivery model. Perform code reviews and promote development standards, security, and platform governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Platform Administrators to deliver business value.
• Stay current with ServiceNow roadmaps, features and industry best practices.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience with:
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
• Employee Centre Pro (ECP)
• IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Experience with additional ServiceNow products such as:
• Financial Services Operations (FSO)
• Legal Service Delivery (LSD)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub
• Experience building and supporting integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of ServiceNow data model, CMDB, ACLs, security, and platform performance best practices.
• Experience working within SAFe Agile delivery frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to coach Junior ServiceNow Developers and colleagues.
• Be an advocate for best practise and right first-time approach, developing reusable, user experience-focussed solutions that utilize Out of the Box platform features and scripts where possible as a primary development method.
• Preferred Certifications
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CSM, HRSD, or FSO preferred)
• SAFe Practitioner or SAFe Agilist certification (desirable)
• Nice to Have
• Experience with AI-powered ServiceNow capabilities including Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Now Assist.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, source control, CI/CD, and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience working within large enterprise or global environments.
