Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in Bengaluru invites applications for a Senior Software QA Engineer to join onsite and strengthen testing across our hybrid cloud portfolio. You will contribute to test strategy, planning and execution, ensuring quality across the full SDLC.

You will drive automation, adopt AI-enabled SDLC practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software. Strong Python, containerization, and CI/CD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Typically 8+ years experience.
• Knowledge and Skills: Storage Domain knowledge – Block/File/Object File System, Protocols, Data path testing Python Automation Networking concepts Docker, Containerization, Kubernetes CI/CD, Git/GitLab, Jenkins Linux/VM environments.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of complete SDLC and software testing methodology, tools, developing test strategy, test planning, test execution and test automation.
• Hands-on AI based SDLC is preferred.
• Strong automation background to own automation strategy and tools to enhance a test automation framework.
• Proficiency in programming in Python.
• Strong System Engineering Knowledge.
• Strong Knowledge of AI workflows and AI tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of tools and processes for functional, regression, scale testing.
• Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use Jira, Confluence, and related software.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and hands-on participation in Scrum.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across a geographically distributed cross-functional team.
