Optum in India seeks a Senior Software Engineering Lead to drive design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade microservices and AI-enabled solutions.

You will mentor juniors, work with Azure cloud, IaC with Terraform, and deliver scalable REST APIs with FastAPI/Flask, React front-ends, and robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

This role requires cloud-native expertise, security practices, and collaboration with agile teams to advance health-tech platforms.

Formación

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of experience in software engineering, including enterprise-class microservices, REST APIs, and web applications.
• Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, Flask, and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and managing infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with component-based architectures, preferably React, and building large React applications.
• Solid knowledge of microservice architecture, REST API integration, and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, serverless computing, and cloud monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana).
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and integrating AI models into applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL Flexible Server.
• Proficient in setting up CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications, preferably in AKS, using GitHub Actions.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable, resilient, and high-performing FastAPI/Flask APIs.
• Proven skilled in addressing security vulnerabilities and ensuring secure application development.
• Proven passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Proven excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a passion for sharing best practices and driving organizational discipline.

• Research and develop innovative solutions to improve future capabilities
• Guide and mentor junior developers to foster team growth

Primary Responsibilities:
