Job summary

VettedBench seeks an experienced backend engineer to join a team taking over engineering and production support of a live connected vehicle cloud platform for a leading Indian automotive OEM. You will own the Lambda platform services and microservices modules and guide engineers who work on them.

The role requires 7–9 years in backend development with strong Java, Node.js or Python skills, plus AWS Lambda, API Gateway and REST microservices experience.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years in backend development.
• Strong in Java, Node.js or Python.

• REST microservices and Docker.
• MongoDB or MySQL.
• Has mentored 3 or more engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the Lambda platform services and microservices modules.
• Break change requests into tasks and assign them to engineers.
• Handle L3 defects and lead root-cause analysis.
• Review code and keep module documentation and runbooks up to date.

About the role

You will own the Lambda platform services and microservices modules, and guide the engineers who work on them.
