Job summary

Veeva Systems is expanding its Hyderabad development centre and seeking a Software Engineer, Test Automation. You will work on cloud-based applications powering life sciences platforms, developing automated test suites and driving quality across releases.

The role requires 6+ years in test automation, strong API testing experience, and proficiency with CI/CD tools. Collaboration with a global QA team and mentorship for juniors are key parts of the position.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation.
• Experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, and/or Software Development.
• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins).
• Experience in API testing and automation (Java).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Possess deep knowledge of Veeva mobile products such as Vault Mobile and Station Manager.
• Create an automation test plan and review with functional QA.
• Coordinate with the QA manager to update the status.
• Contribute to release testing and automation.
• Mentor junior team members to resolve technical issues.

This emerging and growing branch of Veeva is looking for Software Engineer, Test Automation for multiple positions to expand global quality & release engineering efforts. You will be working on cutting‑edge technologies such as Cucumber, AWS(EC2, S3, Workspace), Visual Regression & DevOps Tools, playing a pivotal role in developing/maintaining automating tests to support our ever‑growing suite of regression tests. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, motivated, and can work without too much supervision.

What You’ll Do

• Possess deep knowledge of Veeva mobile products such as Vault mobile and Station Manager applications
• Creating an automation test plan and review with functional QA
• Coordinate with the QA manager to update the status
• Contribute to release testing and automation
• Be a technical mentor and resolve the technical issues faced by the junior team members

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation
• Experience in the fields of Software Testing, Test Automation, and/or Software Development
• Experience in any automation frameworks and knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins)
• Experience in API testing and automating (using on/Java)
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
• Good at problem-solving.

• Experience working in the life sciences and healthcare industry
• Participation in Code Hackathons and Other open source community activities
