Job description

The candidate will be responsible for implementing the relevant Server‑Side Architecture for Web and Mobile Applications based on the client’s requirement for new and existing products. The primary focus will be ensuring high quality and ease of usability in requests from various teams. The candidate should be capable of mentoring junior level engineers, follow up the team members on completing projects on time, and deliver robust bug‑free code to production.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing web and mobile applications with proficiency in complete backend architecture.
• Exposure to architecture design; ability to convert user stories into enterprise‑level software solutions.
• Ability to write correct code with some supervision, using company best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge on the backend frameworks; spot and fix issues proactively.
• Understanding of the workflow and potential to own tasks, from design to completion.
• Should be capable of following Agile processes within the team for continuous monitoring of the system.
• Interact with the Operations team to understand customer issues and provide quick solutions during field operations.
• Involved in hiring and mentoring SDE1 and JSDE; proficient in Python/Django/Flask frameworks.
• Working knowledge in frontend frameworks like Angular/React.js is an added advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams to provide first‑time‑right solutions.
• Hands‑on knowledge of unit testing frameworks with code coverage and software testing tools.
• Can design larger systems, work effectively across multiple teams to deliver large projects, and lead the team to technical success.
• Has demonstrated soft skills and political acumen and is able to negotiate across teams.
• Work independently with minimum guidance; involve in periodic code reviews with the backend team.
• Advise QA and deliver bug‑free products; contribute to the knowledge base for building a strong team.
