Job summary

GreyOrange seeks an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design and develop high-performance systems. You will work on large-scale projects impacting millions of users, applying strong data structures, algorithms, and programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.

You will design, implement, and optimize scalable software, lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of solid backend engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms with ability to solve complex problems.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: C++, Java, or Python.
• Work with architects to draft low‑level design documents and create a tech roadmap.
• Re-architect existing algorithms and implementations.
• Experience with large-scale systems design and architecture.
• Experience with REST-based API integration and RDBMS/SQL.
• Good understanding of design patterns, OO design, and frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to own technical projects end‑to‑end.
