Job summary

HPE Aruba Networking is looking for a skilled software developer to work in a hybrid model, focusing on developing secure SD-WAN/SASE products. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in Linux software development and strong C/C++ skills.

What You’ll Do

• Develop highly secure SD‑WAN/SASE product, “HPE Edge Connect,” for on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain unicast and multicast IP routing infrastructure.
• Proactively improve the quality and performance of the product.

What You Need To Bring

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5‑7+ years of software development experience on Linux platforms.
• Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
• Experience integrating routing stacks for dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, PIM, IGMP, with thorough knowledge of RIB/FIB, Netlink, ECMP, and routing metrics.
• Strong background in design and implementation of software for physical and virtual interfaces (VLAN, Bridges, LAG/LACP) with v4/v6 addresses.
• Experience in neighbor management software using ARP and NDP tables.
• Expertise in Linux networking stack including iproute2, libnl, and kernel parameters tuning via sysctl.
• Strong multicore, multithreaded software development background.
