Job summary

Rekruton Global IT Services in India is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Python AI/ML) to design and build an AI-powered chatbot testing platform. You will work on Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP to enhance testing and validation of conversational systems.

You will develop Python-based APIs using Django or Flask, contribute to system architecture for NLU, NLG, and dialogue management, and optimize backend performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience with strong Python and ML.
• 2+ years of hands-on Generative AI/LLMs or similar large-scale AI systems.
• Experience building Python APIs using Django and/or Flask.
• Strong understanding of ML and NLP concepts (NLU/NLG/dialogue systems).
• Cloud services experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and production-grade code.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration in Agile environments.

In this role, you’ll design and develop intelligent systems leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, and advanced NLP to revolutionize how conversational AI is tested and validated. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain components of a Generative AI-powered chatbot testing application.
• Develop and optimize Python-based APIs and services using Django or Flask.
• Collaborate with team members to design system architecture covering NLU, NLG, and dialogue management.
• Integrate and experiment with LLMs and other AI/ML models to improve testing accuracy, coverage, and intelligence.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and robustness of backend systems through testing and optimization.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into well-engineered features.
• Contribute to discussions around technical design, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Research emerging trends in Generative AI, NLP, and chatbot development, and apply relevant findings to enhance product capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Python and machine learning.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or similar large-scale AI systems.
• Solid experience developing Python APIs using Django and/or Flask.
• Good understanding of machine learning and NLP concepts such as NLU, NLG, and dialogue systems.
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and writing high-quality, production-ready code.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for working on real‑world AI applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
