Central Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET, RESTful) for a 12+ month contract in Chennai.

You will design, develop, and test scalable software solutions with a security-first mindset, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value across the full stack. Senior Software Engineer (.NET, RESTful)

Title: Senior Software Engineer (.NET, RESTful)
Location: DLF IT SEZ Park, Ramapuram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600125
Type: Contract 12+ Months
Shift Time: EST Time zone (5:30 Pm IST to 3:30 AM IST)

Minimum Qualifications

• Prefer a bachelor's degree or higher, in Software Engineering or Computer Science strongly preferred or a related discipline
• 7-9 years of Software Engineering experience
• Strong written and verbal communications and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong object-oriented skills (preferably in .NET/C#)
• Proficient in API design and development and implementing RESTful APIs
• Strong database modeling and design skills, both SQL and non-SQL databases
• Strong skills in developing for cloud native solutions with AWS experience (preferably AWS certifications a plus)

Strong trouble-shooting skills

• Demonstrated understanding of designing and implementing secure solutions with accessibility and security first focus (prefer a strong understanding of OWASP security principles)
• Demonstrated ability of keeping current with trends in information technology best practices and standards and how to apply this understanding to work projects and processes
• Demonstrated focus on quality deliverables with strong emphasis on peer review, implementing automated testing platforms for unit tests, integration tests and acceptance tests
• Strong appetite for continuous improvement throughout the SDLC with a habit of asking "why "
