A dynamic supply chain startup in Pune is seeking an ambitious Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to redefine procurement. You will lead a world-class engineering team, implement cutting-edge technologies, and drive product innovations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in scaling operations, strong leadership skills, and a demonstrated track record in tech entrepreneurship. You will work closely with the founders, contributing significantly to the startup’s mission to disrupt the trillion-dollar procurement industry with green mobility solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We empower our client’s procurement team with efficiency focused supply chain, supplier intelligence and optimisation capabilities to make better decisions, faster! At present we have signed up 10+ OEMs for our product, have been operating offline for quite some time, and are growing at an amazing pace. Our purpose is to advance mobility by redefining procurement. For this meaningful purpose, we are looking for an ambitious Chief Technology Officer (m/f/d) in Pune. You will be part of the founding team and work closely with the founders.

Tasks

• You’ll attract, inspire and grow a world‑class engineering team.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
• You’ll be building our product, team, and culture from the ground up.
• You’ll get hands‑on with building our first prototypes.
• You’ll define and build scalable technology foundations to power our product as we scale, leading and delivering on our technical product roadmap.
• Implementing machine learning models, developing digital twins, managing databases, deploying mobile apps, and writing integrations to APIs.

Who you are

• You’ve led a full‑stack engineering team that digitizes real‑world assets or systems in marketplaces, manufacturing, or the built environment.
• You are highly ambitious and have the relentless focus and discipline to work at an industry‑disruptive startup, and want the high ownership and accountability.
• You have launched a/multiple business(es)/product(s)/service(s) as a tech entrepreneur/ tech leader/ early employee in a company and have a demonstrable track record of successful endeavors.
• You have an educational background in engineering, e.g. software, electrical, or mechanical engineering, and evidence of advanced experience designing and building systems including firmware, back and front ends.
• You have a proven ability to understand complex problems, craft technical solutions to support the business team to validate problem‑market‑fit. You possess a strategic outlook and actionable plan to approach a solution to any problem.
• You have been in the trenches leading operations of a product or service demonstrating pragmatism to balance current needs and future operational excellence.
• You have scaled up operations and teams over a short period of time.
• You are humble, curious and hungry to learn at lightspeed—everything about business with focus on new technologies/solutions.
• You are an active part of the startup ecosystem with a network of tech talent.
• You can deconstruct complex information and communicate concisely. You have a personable style of communication. You are business fluent in English.
• You’re design‑oriented, and love simplifying complex processes into beautiful user experiences.
• You enjoy working on early‑stage ventures: ambiguity excites you, and you’re comfortable making decisions without perfect data. You’re a self‑starter, and don’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves.
