Job summary

NetApp Instaclustr is seeking an experienced software engineer to join a small development team building and maintaining an open-source application platform that provisions infrastructure, installs applications and ensures production reliability.

You will own end-to-end development lifecycle from requirements to deployment, lead complex initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve hard problems, applying DevOps practices globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL and at least one other modern programming language.

Responsibilities

• Work within a development team of 3-8 engineers to build, maintain and enhance our open‑source application platform, handling provisioning, installation and production reliability.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment in production.
• Lead design and implementation of complex development initiatives.
