Trintech Solutions Private Limited (India) invites a Senior Software Engineer to join a global engineering team. You will design, develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL, while contributing to API design and frontend components with JavaScript/Angular.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional software development experience with hands-on expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, JavaScript and/or Angular, and SQL.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and enterprise-grade application components.
• Hands-on experience building modular, component-based front-end applications with JavaScript and/or Angular.

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer focused on the development and maintenance of enterprise software applications. The ideal candidate will bring 5-7 years of professional software development experience with strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, JavaScript and/or Angular, and SQL. This role involves close collaboration with global engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. We are looking for an engineer who can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, contribute to technical decisions, and use modern engineering practices, including responsible AI‑assisted development, to improve productivity and software quality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work as a core member of a global engineering team that applies the right technologies and practices to deliver world‑class solutions that delight customers. Design, develop, test, and maintain Java‑based applications and services using Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, JavaScript and/or Angular, and SQL. Work in Agile teams following Agile and SAFe methodologies to deliver high‑quality products on time, with performance, scalability, security, and localization requirements in mind. Build, test, and deliver innovative solutions to complex technical challenges; diagnose and resolve complex product issues. Apply and promote software development best practices, including clean code, reusable design, automated testing, peer reviews, secure coding, and maintainable architecture. Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring quality, performance, reliability, and efficient implementation. Use AI‑assisted development tools responsibly, such as LLM‑based coding assistants, Codex, ChatGPT, and Claude, to accelerate research, coding, debugging, test creation, documentation, and code review while validating accuracy and protecting company/customer data. Document development approaches, technical decisions, implementation changes, and operational considerations. Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and engineering practices that improve product quality and team productivity.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional software development experience with hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, JavaScript and/or Angular, and SQL; SQL Server experience preferred.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and enterprise‑grade application components.
• Hands‑on experience building modular, component‑based front‑end applications with a strong grasp of JavaScript and/or Angular.
• Ability to design reusable code and optimize application features for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Successful track record of delivering high‑quality, thoroughly tested software on time.
• Ability to follow technical standards and influence peers within a development team through strong engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI‑native software development practices, including effective prompting, code generation, test generation, debugging assistance, documentation support, and responsible validation of LLM‑generated output.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders and peers.
• Highly motivated and self‑directed, capable of multitasking and working with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is preferred.
