Job summary
Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly capable QA Engineer to test and validate leader communications design requirements. The role reports to Manager – Communications and involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure brand guidelines are followed, while also contributing to API and microservices design discussions.
The incumbent will influence quality across Java/Spring Boot based services, REST/SOAP interfaces, and cloud-enabled development in a fast-paced healthcare
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in design including internal and corporate communications.
- Experience in the marketing/communication department of organizations/agencies.
Responsibilities
- Experience in Java 8 or above with any of the RDBMS.
- Analyze & code REST & SOAP Web Service using Spring Boot architecture.
- Able to work independently on design & development of API microservices.
- Understand Microservices and message-based loosely coupled architectures.
- Knowledge/Experience with cloud-based development (AWS) is a plus.

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly creative and meticulous QA Engineer, who will be responsible for testing all requirements for our leader communications. The incumbent will report to Manager – Communications and must understand the design process, liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the brief and deliver all in-house design requirements, apart from coordinating with external agencies to ensure brand guidelines are followed.
- Experience in Java 8 or above with any of the RDBMS
- Analyze & code REST & SOAP Web Service given the specifications using Spring Boot architecture
- Able to work independently on design & development of API microservices
- Understanding of Microservices and message-based loosely coupled architectures
- Knowledge/Experience with cloud based development is a plus e.g. AWS
- Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
- Knowledge on continues build/deploy cycle on any tool (eg: Bamboo etc)
- Familiarity with any tool that captures efforts, defects, work log etc (eg: JIRA)
- knowledge/Experience in working with MongoDB is an added advantage
- knowledge on IBM WebSphere server, Docker is an added advantage
- Follow enterprise coding standards using J2EE (Java) and develop efficient code that is efficient, maintainable and use good design principles
- Good oral and written communication and able to share ideas with confidence.
- Functional knowledge in Health Care Domain and subject expertise in Provider Domain
- Experience in writing Junit test cases
- Expert level problem solving skills using Functional and Object Oriented Programming paradigms
- Experience in Code Review
- Working knowledge on any of the message Queue
- Working knowledge on Docker based applications
- Able to work independently on design & development of API microservices and mentor juniors
- Working Knowledge on continuous build/deploy cycle on any tool (eg: Bamboo etc)
- Able to debug code, provide quick solutions on any issues faced during SIT/UAT and production environments
- Exposure to working in Agile teams and distributed teams with adherence to process
