Job summary

CGI is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Administrator for a Senior Software Engineer/Lead Analyst role in a hybrid setup. The position requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, with 3 days in office in Bangalore and 2 days of work-from-home flexibility.

The ideal candidate will lead Azure tenant administration, hybrid identity management, policy enforcement and cost governance, while ensuring security baselines and disaster recovery readiness across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Azure Administration with AZ-104 or higher certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and Resource Governance.
• Experience with RBAC and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Experience implementing Azure Policy and governance frameworks.
• Experience with Management Groups and multi-landscape controls.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for monitoring.
• Experience with Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
• Security tooling: Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Conditional Access.

Responsibilities

• Azure tenant administration and governance enforcement.
• Manage Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity workflows.
• On-prem AD migration and integration tasks.
• Organize subscriptions and resources for efficiency.
• Configure RBAC, PIM and access controls.
• Implement security baselines and governance policies.
• Establish Management Groups and Landing Zones.
• Monitor cost, usage and optimization efforts.
• Handle backup and disaster recovery administration.
• Set up monitoring with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Act as Global Administrator and delegated admin as required.
