Job summary

Schneider Electric is expanding its Bangalore engineering presence to advance the EcoStruxure Foresight platform. The role focuses on backend development for Advanced Device Templates (ADTs) using C#, with emphasis on scalable, maintainable code and architecture decisions in an Agile setting.

The candidate will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and QA teams across global teams, contributing to design, testing, and deployment while ensuring high standards and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Approximately 4+ years of experience in developing software products/Edge control software in Electrical/Industrial/Automotive/Telecommunication domains.
• Strong proficiency in C# and OOP; Agile/Scrum experience; Windows/Linux development; Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ADTs using C#.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other global stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and high-quality code.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.

Job Description

We are seeking a C# backend developer to develop the Advanced Device Template (ADT) capabilities within the EcoStruxure Foresight platform. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, maintainable code while contributing to architectural decisions and product evolution that covers easy onboarding methods and user-centric graphics and graphics library which are intuitive.

C++ Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ADTs using C#
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other global stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and high-quality code
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory management
• Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux development environments
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Familiarity with software design patterns and architectural principles

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Good to have knowledge in Electrical and Building Automation domain.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, or similar protocols used in automation, automotive, or telecommunication domains.
• Experience with multi-threaded and high-performance applications
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Approximately 4+ years of experience in developing software products/Edge control software within the Electrical, Industrial, Automotive, or Telecommunication domains.
