Job summary

NeST Digital in Bengaluru, India seeks a Functional / Automation Test Engineer with 6+ years of banking domain experience to join our testing team. The role focuses on delivering robust automation across web, API, and robotic process automation platforms.

You will leverage Selenium Java, Rest Assured/Karate, BDD Cucumber, TestNG/JUnit, and UIPath while collaborating in Agile projects and using HP ALM and Jira for traceability. Strong communication and artifact delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in banking domain.
• Hands-on in test automation frameworks: BDD Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit.
• Selenium WebDriver for web automation in Java.
• Rest Assured or Karate for API testing.
• UIPath RPA: Studio, Orchestrator, Robots.
• CI/CD automation exposure.
• Core Java and JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience in Agile projects.
• Experience with HP ALM and Jira.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience on test deliverables: Test Strategy, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, Execution, Defects, Closure, Status reports.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation strategies.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases.
• Prepare and set up test data.
• Execute system integration and regression testing.
• Report and track defects through closure.
• Produce daily status reports and test closure documentation.

• Knowledge and experience in Banking and Financial Services
• Strong hands‑on experience in test automation frameworks like - BDD Cucumber, TestNG, Junit
• Expertise in Web application automation using Selenium Java
• Expertise in Web Service Automation using Rest Assured/ Karate Framework
• Expertise in UIPath RPA platform, including experience with UIPath Studio, Orchestrator and Robots
• Good exposure to CI / CD automation
• Strong knowledge in one or more programming language like - Core Java and Java Script
