About Role:

First Advantage Corporation is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full stack development expertise in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) along with Hands‑on experience in modern frontend and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience building scalable applications, writing high‑quality code, and collaborating effectively across teams. You will contribute to key projects that directly impact product quality, performance, and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and enhance scalable, high-performance applications using PHP, MySQL, and other LAMP based technologies.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful and JSON‑based APIs, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable integrations with internal and external systems.
• Work with cloud platforms—preferably AWS—to build, deploy, and optimize application components.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Assist in project planning, estimation, and requirement analysis to ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, contributing ideas that promote innovation and continuous improvement.
• Support junior team members when required by providing technical guidance and sharing best practices.

What we're looking for:

• Strong hands‑on experience with LAMP stack development—Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP.
• Solid experience in building secure, scalable APIs (REST, JSON), including versioning, authentication and performance optimization.
• Good understanding of both front‑end and backend development.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React preferred) and familiarity with Node.js or TypeScript is a plus.
• Exposure to AWS services, cloud‑based development, or modern infrastructure architectures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containers (Docker), or related DevOps tools is an advantage.
