Responsibilities

• Review, redesign and update existing systems with newer technologies.
• Focus on automation of both infrastructure and application stacks.
• Participate in, and support special projects and integrations.
• Provide production operational support to a portfolio of assigned applications.
• Engineer IaC deployments and CI/CD processes to deliver applications to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Expert level / 5+ years directly related experience in multiple technologies around IT and application stacks for a Senior DevOps Engineer.
• Experience in managing medium‑size Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience in Incident, Change, Service Request, Problem, and Service Desk management.
• Programming experience with languages like Python, Go, JavaScript, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Git, etc.
• Experience in cloud technologies around AWS, Azure, etc.; experience in monitoring (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) is a bonus.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and turn those into actionable specifications for new workflows, processes, and services.
• Experience working with microservice architecture.
• Experience developing Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) solutions.
• Good soft skills necessary to manage business requests.
• Experience evaluating, recommending, managing and prioritizing.
• Experience with reference materials in Confluence and SharePoint.
• Experience with databases and data structures – strong plus.
• Experience in understanding and using an SDLC, as well as developing, testing, supporting IT applications and/or infrastructure – strong plus.
• Experience working on complex IT/Dev projects – advantage.
• Flexibility to overlap with EST hours.
